Southern Cross Atrium Apartments

The pool looks so relaxing, the apartment has everything we needed, especially the kitchen wares. I like how the houses are designed to let fresh air in. There’s a big balcony facing the pool and palm trees, a delight to see everyday morning.

The apartment was very clean and bright, with a small but pleasant balcony. I especially liked the fact it had both a mesh and glass sliding door, so if you wanted more air in the room without bugs, that was an option! I liked that it was really close to the station (I arrived by train and then did the Kuranda Scenic Railway) and also the shopping centre with supermarkets. The bed was comfortable to sleep in as well. I didn't use many of the other amenities, such as the pools, but they looked very nice.

Good location, close to Cairns central, bars restaurants etc all around. Nice pool areas, rooms a but dated but sufficient.

This place was amazing. The staff were so lovely and helpful, the multiple pools were amazing and the rooms were a great size with comfortable beds. We came here in the middle of summer and a heatwave and it was so cool and refreshing in the rooms which was fantastic. So conveniently close to the shops and not too far from everything else.

The room wasn't particularly large, but the space was well-organized and cozy. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient, being just a short walk from the shopping center and within easy walking distance to the city center. The room was clean. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a well-located and clean place to stay.
